It is an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue our rapid growth while having high aspirations together with enthusiastic colleagues worldwide. The new IT Operations Manager will deploy, configure, and operate the IT Infrastructure, and lead the employees in the IT department.
IT Operations Manager will be given the opportunity to further develop and build a strong IT function in line with Nordic Semiconductor´s business strategy. Together with VP IT and Digitalization you will develop an operating model for the nurturing skillsets, experience and qualification, and drive retention of knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Nordic Semiconductor’s IT Operating Model to support the company’s strategic development.
- Maintaining and enhancing the IT infrastructure and infrastructure components, including task automation via tools and coding.
- Follow-up of partners with regards to outsourcing, operating and maintenance agreements.
- Managing and applying software updates.
- Building and managing systems and components in virtualized and cloud computing environments.
- Monitoring the performance of systems and services related to their contribution to organization performance, security and sustainability.
- Preparation of operating and investing budgets for the field of responsibility.
Qualifications and skills
- Documented broad technical insights and good understanding of enterprise architecture.
- Skilled in IT operating models, IT standards and know how to implement and manage within own organization.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to execute project and program management.
- Solid leadership skills and knowledge to drive result within IT operation.
