Create the leading seafood analytics platform- Kontali is looking for a new CTO

Kontali is a company with great ambitions and we are currently experiencing a growing demand for our products and services. With our recent acquisition of Seafood TIP in the Netherlands and Arendals Fossekompani coming in as new owners of Kontali, we are looking for candidates to contribute to our plans for further expansion.
Kontali is in a development phase of a new technological platform and a unique SaaS system which will be sold and marketed on a global scale.
In the role as CTO your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead the development of a new technology platform for data modelling and distribution of data and insight
- Define best practice technology, methodology, and tools in cooperation with owner team and CEO
- Implementation of chosen technology and methodology
- Lead and practice software development
- Endorse secure software development
- Hire and follow up a supporting team of experts
Profile & requirements:
- Higher education within a relevant field of study
- Experience from a tech or software company
- Experience in development of cloud solutions, and it is positive if you have experience in developing and operating SaaS services
- Able to establish a strategy plan, define a technical architecture and be able to communicate this to the organisation
- Able to coordinate a team and help your colleagues develop professionally
- Able to gain insight into our domain
- Able to motivate and inspire those around you
It is important for us that the candidate has the experience and personality to quickly acclimate in the role and contribute in developing Kontali to reach our ambitious goals.You will be part of the company’s leadership group and report directly to the CEO of Kontali.This is one of the most exiting technological positions in the region in a company with great ambitions.
