You will collaborate closely with our electronics manufacturing service partners (EMS) and contracted manufacturers (CM). The position is on-site in Oslo and traveling to EMS/CM etc is expected on a regular basis.

Key responsibilities are -

  • Product test solution

    • Maintain our production test solutions, in collaboration with both internal and external teams.

    • Work with the factory to ensure proper implementation of our test solutions, and correct issues when they arise.

    • Be involved in development of internal test products and balance test coverage and test cost.

  • Manufacturing quality assurance

    • Own and maintain technical documentation for our products as well as manage engineering changes.

    • Define and implement systems to ensure that product quality and consistency matches our standards

    • Analyze production data and work with internal and external teams to identify and correct issues in manufacturing.

  • Work with Production Associates to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment, and product design

  • Support our supply chain with follow up of our suppliers

  • Design for Manufacturing – assist product designers to find manufacturing optimized solutions

  • Prepare small scale pilot series of new products

  • For customers returns (return merchandise authorization (RMA)) investigate possible hardware problems that may involve the factory.

Key Qualifications & Skills we are looking for -

  • Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Experience in quality management and manufacturing.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience

  • Knowledge of manufacturing functional testing from hardware component to end product

  • Problem solver and eager to find solutions

    • Root cause analysis

  • Statistical process control (SPC) knowledge

  • Project management skills
