As a Software Engineer you will be involved in the development of different modules in our applications, as well as work with automatic monitoring and testing in the platform. You will be working in an autonomous product team, focusing on delivering products that create value for our clients.

As a software engineer at Ignite, you will be working with

• Developing a cloud-based procurement software with modern technologies
• Writing tests and monitoring the product
• Refactoring code and logic in existing projects
• Being involved in the discovery phase of the features in order to provide a technical perspective and insights that will help the Product Manager prioritize the right functionality.
• Contributing to reaching value driven objectives set by the team.

A little insight into our tech stack

We are pragmatic about technology, the specific technologies are chosen to the solve our specific problems, thus we have a dynamic tech stack. Most of the Ignite platform is hosted on Google Cloud Platform, some stuff is on AWS. We use Kubernetes with Docker to manage and run our applications, to enable a loosely coupled architecture. And while the majority is written in Python, we do have some modules coded in for example C++ or node.js. Our front-end is mainly built using Typescript and React. Walking the talk, in terms of Continuous Delivery, is important so we push out code in production several times a day.
