wheel.me is a pioneering Norwegian tech company dedicated to transforming intralogistics with smart robotics solutions. With a proven product ready for global scale, we're seeking a driven and experienced Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead our commercial efforts worldwide.

As CCO, you will shape and execute wheel.me’s commercial strategy, driving sales and expanding our market presence globally. You’ll lead a growing sales and marketing team, directly influencing our growth as we aim to establish wheel.me as a global leader in smart robotics.

The position is split into four key areas of responsibility as per below.

Commercial Strategy:

  • Develop and implement global go-to-market plans, pricing models, partner models and overall sales strategies.
  • Ensure a solid after-sales process based on customer engagement.
  • Implement and lead commercial launch preparation activities including brand strategy, market access strategy and resource planning.

Sales and sales leadership:

  • Manage and build high growth B2B sales motion within the robotics field with a hybrid channel approach.
  • Create accountability within the company by developing appropriate metrics and relevant activities.
  • Further develop and manage high performing sales team to execute end to end sales including outreach, pitching, getting alignment, negotiation, closing deals and implementation.
  • Generate and qualify leads on an international scale.
  • Monitor market trends and run regular competitor analysis.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify and penetrate new markets, aligning product offerings with customer needs.

Executive Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the CEO and other executives to drive overall business growth.
  • Contribute as a member of the executive team; develop and foster close and trusting working relationships with each of the executive team members.
  • Take on an external facing role with investors and the media and build and maintain good relations with key opinion leaders and policy initiatives.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with the drive to scale innovative solutions who possesses commercial acumen to navigate complex markets. You are someone with a proven track record in driving sales growth on a global scale, especially within the B2B technology space. Ideally, you have experience in robotics or industrial automation, but most importantly, you possess a strong strategic mindset and the ability to turn vision into action. You’re not just a leader, you’re a doer who is eager to roll up your sleeves and make a significant impact.

  • Experience: 10+ years in commercial leadership, ideally in B2B tech sales.
  • Leadership: Strong executive leaderships skills and proven ability to build and lead successful sales teams and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Strategy: A strategic result-driven thinker with the ability to build solid GTM strategies and building commercial organizations.
  • International Sales: Experience managing global sales operations, with a focus on enterprise accounts.
  • Personal Attributes: Can-do-attitude, strategic mindset, and excellent communication skills.
