The offer

You’ll join the Startup & Growth Business Banking unit who help entrepreneurs and fast-growing companies to succeed and thereby become good business customers of Nordea. To succeed we are proactive in the entrepreneur environment, work with the professional investor networks and develop new service concepts for this segment. We are looking for an employee who can help Nordea fulfill our ambition to become the preferred no.1 bank in this segment.


What you'll be doing

You will get sole responsibility to build your own portfolio of customers while working in a team who shares ideas and thoughts and work towards common objectives. You, along with your team members, will manage the total unit risk by following up customers. You will ensure that we have a safe onboarding of new customers which is compliant with our policy. You will give financial advice to your customers and connect these to our specialists. You will analyze and prepare credit memos for credit decisions and attend events and seminars. And you will be hunting new customers.



The role is based in Oslo, in Nordea’s HQ at Majorstuen. The unit is part of the Business Banking unit and Region Oslo but have responsibility for the whole of Norway. Region Oslo have approx. 40 relationship managers divided into teams who work in an open office space. We work in an inclusive environment (where people will ask you to join for coffee or lunch independent of teams), and we believe you will get easily connected and start building valuable relationships.

Your profile and background

We require a bachelor’s degree or higher. We look for a team player with an outgoing personality and who is good at building relations. You should be structured and analytical with good financial understanding. It is an advantage (but not crucial) if you have experience either from the investorside, as a founder or have other relevant segment based competences.
